Amit Mehra is Founder and CEO of m7admit. He is passionate about helping people achieve their life goals, whether as an MBA admissions advisor guiding applicants or as a Venture Capitalist supporting entrepreneurs. He believes each person has a unique life story to share. Leveraging his ability to “connect the dots,” he listens to and probes clients to learn what their unique stories are and then works patiently with them to make compelling cases for the Admissions Committee. For over a decade, Amit’s clients have been securing spots in the most prestigious global business schools.

Amit is a founding principal at a prominent early stage VC Fund in India and advisor to India’s first crypto Hedge Fund. He is a former management consultant, having worked with Deloitte in their San Francisco office, advising Fortune-100 companies on Corporate Strategy and Investment Analysis. At Deloitte, Amit was a core member of the team responsible for recruiting MBAs and Undergraduate. Prior to Deloitte, Amit worked with Barclays Capital in the Investment Banking Division out of their Hong Kong Office. In his pre-MBA days Amit held software Product Development roles with a leading Israeli product company.

Amit has an MBA from Fuqua, where he was awarded a partial scholarship, and Bachelors in Computer Engineering with Distinction from Mumbai University. While at Fuqua Amit did a semester exchange at London School of Economics.

Amit is currently based in India, having returned to his home country in 2018, after living in the US for more than a decade along with considerable stints in the UK, Canada, Dominican Republic, Denmark, and Hong Kong. His global exposure enables him to seamlessly connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and geographies. He loves drinking ‘Milk Chai’ and in his free time enjoys watching college basketball and supporting the Duke ‘Blue Devils’ basketball team.
